You can download all the streaming embedded videos from almost any site with a click of a button.



After installing XDM, a "Download Video" button pops up whenever you are watching a video anywhere in cyberspace (shown in the picture below). Just click on the button to start downloading clips. It's as simple as that; you do not have to separately launch Xtreme Download Manager. What's more, you can choose to download a clip at any point during the video, and the scene will be captured from the start. The download will proceed in the background even if you pause or stop watching. And you can download more than one video at the same time.

Use XDM with your favourite browser

XDM works with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, MSN Explorer, AOL, Opera, Mozilla and many other browsers.



If you click on a download link in your browser XDM will take over and accelerate this download. In this case you don't need to do anything special, just browse the Internet as you usually do. XDM takes over a download from Internet Explorer if its type matches the list of types/extensions. The list of file types/extensions to download with XDM can be edited in Options->File types. If XDM has taken over a download, it shows the following dialog



Refreshing expired file





  • Select the download in XDM main window and from XDM Menu goto Tools->Refresh link

  • If XDM has information how the download link was found, it will show the address of the web page which contained the link of the file being downloaded.



    If the field is blank, it means XDM does not have the information how the download was found. You have to manually open the web page and try to download the same file

  • Now please open the web page, and close the Link refresh dialog

    When you download that file again, New Download window of XDM should appear



    Please copy the URL from address field and close the Popup

  • Now Open that link refresh dialog and paste the new link



    And resume the download

    Now play the file in browser and, DOWNLOAD VIDEO popup will appear



    Please select the same video from DOWNLOAD VIDEO popup and click on COPY URL button to copy the new link and close the dialog



  • Now Open that link refresh dialog and paste the new link



    And resume the download
